Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and shopping.
- Engage in activities that enrich the lives of our clients, including playing games, reading, watching television, and accompanying them on outings and social trips.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's behavior or condition to the Service Supervisor promptly.
- Keep accurate service records of daily activities and any incidents.
- Escort clients to appointments and assist with other errands as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and state regulations regarding companion/sitter services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor to ensure the well-being of clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a home care setting.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License and personal means of transportation required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Dependable and punctual, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to engage with clients in a friendly and caring manner.
- Must be flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of clients.
